We love this post from USA Today.

The wife of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Ransom Riggs, set out to make his birthday incredible. To celebrate, she commissioned an exact minature replica of Miss Peregrine’s home.

An author herself, Tahereh Mafi, had architectural model maker Michael DelPriore “construct a miniaturized version of Miss Peregrine’s Home. The result is pretty spectacular and took months of collaboration.”

Based upon a Belgian chateau, the home is indeed another character in the 2011 best seller and will be on display in the Tim Burton film based on the novel.

This miniaturized building is just amazing. I have yet to read the book, this posting certainly makes it more interesting and very intriguing.
