Some books plant seeds. Some books are so dear to us, affect us so profoundly that we walk away from them changed, transformed. These books are ingrained into our minds and stay with us, inspire us, grow to bear fruit in our lives. This week’s staff pick concerns books so pivotal to us, to the world, that we deem them “the most important books we’ve ever read.” These are the books that have changed our worlds.
