It’s no secret we love Gaiman on LitStack and when Coraline debuted, we took our kids along to see the film (we had to have an excuse, right? THEY wanted to see it, not us. We’re adults!) and were astonished by how faithful to the book the adaptation was in all its beautiful, perfectly weird glory. Henry Selick‘s stop-motion film brilliantly took Gaiman’s Hugo-winning novel to an entirely real level and exhibited both the character and charm of what we’re certain will one day be a children’s classic.
