The latest reading site to add to your bookmarks? That would be Bookish, the new site for reading, discussing and buying books. Launched on February 5th by Simon & Schuster, Hachette Book Group and Penguin Group (USA), the site is billed as “a one-stop, comprehensive online destination designed to connect readers with books and authors.” Bookish features articles, reviews, interviews, and links aimed to enhance publishers’s Web presence and increase recognition among the general public. The site features book across a an array of genres, is handsomely designed, as well as easy to read and navigate. The editorial staff is a roster of—well, bookish types with credits across the publishing industry. Users can search titles, browse recommendations and build personalized bookshelves of choice reads.
