2013 Hugo Award Winners
Congratulations to the winners and nominees of the 2013 Hugo Awards, held at LoneStarCon 3 in San Antonio on Sunday night.
There were a few hiccups with the Ustream live feed of the ceremony, but host Paul Cornell made the night delightful with many gentle jibs and jokes at the expense of the genre community. (Random Penguin is the name of my next band, by the way).
A highlight of the night was when Cornell asked presenter Jay Lake to stay back after helping to announce the “Not a Hugo” Campbell award to Mur Lafferty. Cornell held up a sign and asked the audience to read the words “We Love You, Jay” in unison.
And, by the way, Jay, we do. We really, really do!
Below are the majority of winners. Congratulations to everyone!
