10 Creative People Who Initially Failed

Theodor Seuss Geisel

Dr. Seuss' first book was rejected by 27 different publishers.

Dr. Seuss pitched his first book and was rejected 27 times before a chance encounter with a friend who had just landed an editing job.  Geisel told his friend about his book, about the rejection, and told him he was fed up and about to destroy the book.  The friend read it and Dr. Seuss was born.
