Founded in 2004, the International Thriller Writers (ITW) is an honorary society of authors ITWwhose aim is to promote and recognize work in the thriller genre which is “at an innovative and superior level.”   For the past nine years, ITW has been handing out their Thriller Awards for the best writing in English in the thriller genre (which includes – but is not limited to – murder mystery, detective, suspense, horror, supernatural, action, espionage, true crime, war, adventure, and so on).

The longlist of works nominated for ITW’s annual Thriller Awards was recently announced.  The list includes:

BEST HARDCOVER NOVEL
