It’s been a while, writing friends – are you ready for a new prompt? Your inspiration this week is from the Library of Congress, Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information archives.

 

 

 

Let your imagination take you where it will, and post your story – about 500 words or fewer – on your blog or tumblr or someplace you’d like the rest of us to visit. Drop a link in the comments here, and head off to visit other participants’ posts. As usual, we’ll include a roundup of entries with the next challenge.   1. Photographs almost never inspire me! I like to see what other people make of them, but I'm hopeless.
