Hope you’ve had a wonderful  – maybe even relaxing? – summer! Are you ready to get back into a writing routine? We’re so happy to be back with a brand new photo prompt to help inspire your creativity. There are no hard and fast rules, just let your imagination take you where it will and post your story – about 500 words or fewer – on your blog or tumblr or someplace you’d like the rest of us to visit. Drop a link in the comments here, and head off to visit other participants’ posts. We’ll include a roundup of entries with the next challenge. All are welcome, and it’s all friendly, so be bold and jump right on in.

Happy writing!  (photo source)

  2. Great story, Elaine. I called the car a Corona in my piece, too, just because I think that's a cool word.
