Kitschies

Six years ago, the Kitschies were established to “reward the year’s most progressive, intelligentKitschies and entertaining (literary) works that contain elements of the speculative or fantastic.”  The “tentacular” awards are specifically bestowed on works of speculative fiction published in the United Kingdom, and have become one of the most prestigious up-and-coming awards in the literary world.

Last week, the short lists for the 2014 Kitschies were announced.  They include:

The Red Tentacle (Novel)
